Chris Hanebutt is a composer/producer/mixing engineer with credits ranging from Anthony Hamilton, Lara Fabian, Pharoahe Monch, Mary J Blige, King Lil G, Nipsey Hussle, Casey Veggies, Wiz Khalifa, and BJ The Chicago Kid, to FOX, NBC, SONY PICTURES, Lionsgate, STARZ, The NBA, COCA-COLA, and more.

Alongside 160 times platinum selling producer/songwriter Mark Batson, Chris is currently scoring Power Book IV: FORCE for STARZ.  In addition, Chris' song ON THE COME UP is featured in the opening Power logo for all shows in the POWER UNIVERSE.  The Power Series has streamed over 1.5 Billion Hours to date. Chris & Mark recently scored the pilot episode for the reboot of the iconic series L.A. Law as well as the award winning documentary One Person, One Vote.

Other notable projects:  Chris co-wrote, engineered, and mixed the theme song (and others) for the Award-winning event series, SHOTS FIRED which won a 2018 NAACP IMAGE AWARD.   In addition, Animal Sauvage, a song co-written/co-produced/mixed by Chris, was prominently featured in the #1 Box Office hit feature film, THE EQUALIZER 2, starring Denzel Washington.  Chris also wrote, produced, and/or mixed seven songs for Oprah Winfrey and Michael B Jordan's critically-acclaimed, PEABODY AWARD winning series DAVID MAKES MAN. Chris co-wrote, co-produced, mixed, and mastered Papercuts featuring Casey Veggies and Wiz Khalifa for Paramount Picture's INFINITE, starring Mark Wahlberg.  Chris vocal-produced 6 songs for the third and final season of Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

An active speaker and mentor to up and coming songwriters, producers, and engineers, Chris sits on the board for Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times, a free-of-charge wilderness camp for children affected by cancer.
